We do not sell personal information. We do not use your information for commercial advertising, and we do not share contact details with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Consumer complaints and confidentiality

Where you submit a product safety report, the Institution does not disclose your identity to the producer, retailer or any other party without your written consent. Reports may be shared with regulators in an anonymised form where public safety requires it.

5. Cookies

You may clear this storage at any time through your browser settings without losing access to any part of the site.

6. Legal basis and international transfers

We process personal information on the basis of your consent, our legitimate interest in operating a public-benefit standards body, and where applicable our legal obligations under Lesotho law. Where we correspond with international partners, funders or verification bodies, only the minimum information necessary is transferred and it is protected by written confidentiality terms.

7. Retention

Enquiry correspondence is retained for three years. Complaint records that inform a published framework are retained for seven years in a form that does not identify the reporter. Grant and audit records are retained for the period required by Lesotho law.

8. Your rights
