Standards are built by many hands

The Institution is funded by grants, institutional sponsorship and the donated time of technical people. Every contribution is applied directly to public-benefit programmes.

Partnership opportunities

International development bodies, regional standards organisations, local producers and civil society groups can co-develop frameworks, co-host training, or sponsor a district programme. We publish every partnership in our annual report.

How to begin

Write to the Executive Director with a one-page outline of the programme and the districts it would serve.

Donations & grants

Grants and sponsorships fund laboratory partnerships, printing of Sesotho-language consumer material, and travel for district workshops. Restricted grants are ring-fenced and reported against their stated purpose.

How to begin

Contact us for banking details, our audited annual statement and the current restricted-grant register.

Volunteer & research opportunities

Engineers, food technologists, lawyers, students and community organisers contribute committee review, field surveys, translation and outreach. Research placements are available for university students.

How to begin

Send a short note describing your field and available time; induction workshops are held quarterly.
